No, really:

Turns out a fucking crazy lady who “lives” next door dumped all this shit all over my landlord’s car sometime overnight. i wasn’t here.

The landlord wasn’t able to get his car out of the garage, and instead walked to work. Then he spent a good chunk of the day talking with the police, the DPW, and the department of health.

She’s under a conservatorship, so there’s not a lot we can do.

The reason it looks the way it does is that, naturally, people have been rummaging through the crap all day. Most of the bags are open. Do I even need to mention that it smells fucking terrible?

So what I’m pissed about, besides the obvious, is this situation in which this is allowed to happen. Because of some set of laws, I am forceds to put up with this shit. In addition to this grand display of neighborly love, she routinely keeps or wakes me up in the late and early hours, singing or shouting nonsensically. Or, even better, sometimes she plays her music out the window, loudly.

Oh, and her cat shits all over my garden.

I’m so fucking pissed that nothing is going to happen. Even DPW is taking its time getting out here to clean this shit up.

Because I’m past-tense pissed, and because I’ve already written about it, I refer to you my post at Muni Diaries about a bus that passed us after taunting us for more than 15 minutes yesterday.

My god, now this: A group of female Hillary Clinton supporters are threatening to undermine Barack Obama’s nomination, as they put it, “should he get it.”

First, fucking MEMO TO YOU IDIOTS: Obama has the nomination. And guess what? He’s fucking pro-choice! Shocking, ain’t it? The other guy, the guy who’ll win if your efforts are successful, he’s not. Wow!

Second, if Hillary Clinton had won the nomination through the very same process that elevated Obama to front-runner and then presumptive nominee, do you honestly think prominent Obama supporters would threaten to undermine Clinton’s efforts when the NAACP endorsed her? When it clear to everyone except the candidate and his most close-minded supporters that Clinton was going to be the one actually running for president? Do you think they’d dare cry “racism”?

You people are so ignorant.

Does anyone have a fucking conscience anymore?!

Following a nature-infused weekend in the East Bay ‘burbs, I return to my city-flat as calm and refreshed as one can be from a trifling three days away from the office. I’m awakened at 7am today not to the weekly sound of the trash being removed from the bins located directly underneath my bedroom window, but a buzz saw.

I live adjacent to a small alley, the other side of which resides a flat recently purchased by a pair of now-apparent heartless louts. The louts’ back garden houses three to four gorgeous old-growth trees whose leaves and branches buttress my bedroom and kitchen windows, providing the allusion of living in a treehouse. Their branches held the creatures and nests which provided a natural calm teeming with life and productivity. And, the leaves offered a veil of shade and privacy to my urban bungalow.

To watch the workers hack away at these trees put a lump in my throat and a sting in my eyes, as they efficiently pushed the trees’ now lifeless branches through a wood chipper. Imagining what else was being ground to bits in that chipper … I can’t.

Could these new owners have asked or, more likely, told their neighbors, mere renters, of their murderous intentions? Might they have waited until the fledglings fledged and the nests were empty? Maybe they could have considered how this alteration would affect the people who have lived there for years, and found the trees of comfort and beauty?

And, how do you replace something that is now completely gone?

Elizabeth Edwards told one of MSNBC’s puppet anchors yesterday that she was endorsing Clinton’s health care plan, but not the candidate herself.

So I go back to being pissed at Elizabeth for the same reason I’m pissed and annoyed by John — lack of endorsement.

She for tacitly endorsing the loser in the race, he for failing to endorse anyone. Ugh.

It was 5:45 and I was putting the finishing touches on my work for the week, getting ready to bail in about 15 minutes, when the web-based tool I was using crapped out.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened, but it is the first time it didn’t come back and let me finish.

So yeah, about 20 minutes of anger and an hour and fifteen minutes of scrambling later, my weekend began.

My lord, I get up this morning and find this article on Huffington Post detailing how the mainstream media are licking Hillary Clinton’s balls eating up the whole Cinderella, Comeback Kid narrative that propelled Bill to the nomination in 1992.

Are they freaking serious???

John Judis, at The New Republic, says Pennsylvania proved that Obama’s supporters are just kids and minorities, that’s it’s another McGovern (or, dare I say, Howard Dean?). That’s horseshit, and it pisses me off. Obama has built an enormous coalition across the country of young and old, men and women, all races, gay and straight. One or two states that outlie that trend doesn’t prove anything.

Then blowhard Joe Klein at Time claims that Obama left Pennsyvlania “stale, battered and embittered,” yet goes on in the same sentence to recognize that he’s “still the mathematical favorite for the nomination.” Joe, are you reading? He’s not the “favorite” of the math. He’s the solution to the stubborn equation.

Go watch his speech from Tuesday and please, please point out to me how he’s embittered. I won’t bother spinning the results in PA, but I will say he did better than originally expected, and that the delegate math doesn’t change significantly. Clinton netted 10-14 delegates. We’ll see in a couple weeks, but I have a feeling Obama can largely erase those gains in Indiana and North Carolina.

Jesus Christ, the mainstream media are so terrible and make my blood boil.

I’m so pissed when I hear Dems say, “I hate Hillary so much, that I will vote for John McCain if she’s nominated.” I hate that.
